ACCOUNTING OUTSOURCING SERVICES
Bookkeeping Scope of Work
- Accounts payable - Including review and entry of invoices, check processing, ACH payments, and paper or electronic filing of documents
- Accounts Receivable – Billing, AR aging follow up, cash receipts / deposits
- Payroll - process payroll using third party vendor, manage payroll tax filings, administration of benefits
- Expense Reporting
- Bank Reconciliations
- General Ledger Review – review ledger and prepare adjusting journal entries or month end closing entries
Controller & CFO Scope of Work
- Management of the full accounting cycle
- Ongoing analysis and feedback on accounting best practices, workflow, and policies and procedures
- Financial Reporting – monthly financial statement to include balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow analysis
- Budgeting – annual budgeting and monthly budget vs actual analysis
- Cash Management and Cash Flow Projections
- Fixed Asset Management – inventories, depreciation schedules
- Coordination with outside auditors, investors and lenders
- Benefits Administrator – review policies and mange renewals, compliance reporting
- Strategic Planning - compensation planning, IT planning, corporate governance
What You'll Need to Provide
- Bank and Credit Card Statements
- Access to accounting software or complete ledger
- Access to third party vendors used for sales (POS, merchant sales, bill.com etc.)
- Access to vendor invoices, payables etc.
- Payroll Documents – including payroll reports and monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
- State annual reports, personal property filings, business license filings
- Federal and state tax filings
- Corporate documents - FEIN #, articles of incorporation, bylaws, resident agent, list of shareholders, board of directors, members, managers etc.
